Sarah Marks made her living on archaeological digs for the Alliance. Going to the lost planet of Admar is an honor that puzzles her. Usually a more experienced Reader would be chosen. Her Terran heritage has been a hindrance to her until now but that is about to change. Arriving on Admar she finds that she has the magic touch and that some of that magic is waiting to touch her back. Demetrius has been waiting over a thousand years for a human to arrive and wake him. He is extremely pleased with his luck when he spies Sarah. He is only hoping that she will be equally as impressed when she sees him for the first time.
